IdleTimer Danielle Westphal sang at the White House and Kennedy Center. She performed at the White House for a holiday reception attended by the President and First Lady, and performed there on other occasions with her accapella singing group. She also headlined at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage with her jazz band.

The IdleTimers sang the National Anthem for the Washington Nationals MLB team in Washington DC. The IdleTimers took the singers of the ‘An American Musical Landscape’ show to Nationals Park to perform our National Anthem. The IdleTimers also frequently perform the National Anthem at the National Sporting Library and Museum's annual polo match in Middleburg VA.

The IdleTimers wrote, produced, and performed in 'An American Musical Landscape' at the GW Masonic Memorial in Alexandria VA for 15 years. The show caters to the tourism and travel industry, attracting thousands of clients arriving on tour buses. The troupe included 5 singers, 6 musicians, and several historical greeters who presented this 90-minute 'Tour of American Music.' The show highlights 22 iconic songs drawing from all musical genres. A smaller road-show version called 'Keynotes' highlights songs by Washington DC artists. Keynotes has been performed at conventions in Philadelphia, Richmond, and the DC area. The IdleTimers produced and performed in Shows called 'Nashville Connections' at the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville TN and at Blues Alley in Washington DC. The shows featured top songwriters including Buzz Cason (Everlasting Love), Walter Egan (Magnet and Steel), Thom Sheppard (Red Neck Yacht Club and Riding with Private Malone), and Jon Carroll (Starland Vocal Band).

The IdleTimers wrote, produced, and performed in Corporate shows including 'Islandscapes' in Bermuda and 'Search Party' shows in Montreal Canada, and Orlando FL. These shows added talent from the host country and/or host company, playing popular songs of all types. The IdleTimers traveled with members of their ContraBand from the 'An American Musical Landscape' show. The IdleTimers also produced 'Divas of DC' benefit concerts in the DC area. |

The IdleTimers performed regularly at Top Clubs and Events, mostly in the Washington DC area. Danielle regularly performed jazz standards at multiple clubs, and still performs on occasion with wedding bands. Their Swooners Band and Ken's Idle Time Band performed at JVs, a music club in Annandale VA that has presented live music nightly for almost 70 years. The Idle Time Band also performed community events including the prestigious Bluemont Concert series throughout Virginia.
